I have personally known Ps. Gerald James for
over 6 years. When you spend many hours in prayer with someone, you
get to know their heart towards God and their desire to see the
Kingdom of God grow, by going out to the lost, as in accordance
with the command of Jesus:
Mark 16:15 ".. Go into all the
world and preach the good news to all creation".
(NIV)
A vision
Some years
back on three separate occasions I saw a vision, of a man stepping
out of a boat and running on water. As he got out the boat and
began to run, hundreds of people came running off the shore and
began to run on the water, following the man who stepped out the
boat.
The man who stepped out off the boat was Ps Gerald James. As he
stepped out in faith, I knew people would support him and follow
him in his Ministry. I told Gerald that it was up to him to step
out, as I saw in the vision.
Having seen this vision, I knew he was called by God to evangelise,
and I knew I had to be part of this Ministry. I knew the motive
behind the Ministry. It was very clear. To see souls saved -
SALVATION, the sick healed -
HEALING, to see people set free from bondages -
DELIVERANCE and to see people be impacted by the
power of God - IMPARTATION OF THE HOLY
SPIRIT.
On the very first Crusade at Rooty Hill in 2002, the fruit of the
Ministry became very real. Salvations, Healings, Deliverance, and
people being touched by the power of God.
Bone reconstruction
In
particular, despite witnessing some mighty miracles that evening
and at every Crusade, none remains clearer in my mind that the
little 9 year old boy, who 7 years earlier had his femur bone
broken when a car crashed through their house.
His bone did not heal correctly and as a result; his leg was about
2 cm shorter than his other leg. When he came up for prayer all I
saw was Ps. Gerald call for a chair, sat the boy down and lifted
his legs out straight. It was very evident that one of his legs was
short. Even more evident was the power of God, as when Ps. Gerald
called out "Jesus, Jesus, Jesus," I saw with my
very own eyes, the boys' leg grow to the same length as his other
leg.
The little boy, his mother and I were amazed, having witnessed the
healing and miracle, with all glory and praise going to
Jesus.
Giving a helping hand
It is very easy to sit back and do
nothing. However, when you take the step of faith and go out to the
people to see God meet their needs, it takes a lot of time, effort,
resources and finances. Having seen that Ps Gerald needed support,
I am more than wiling to be involved, to see God move, to see
people saved and set free from bondages.
I believe this ministry will be involved reaching people not only
all over Australia, but also all over the world.
As we Christians unite, in one accord and one purpose, one in heart
and mind, we will see God move mightily. That is when we will see
thousands saved at each meeting. My involvement with ministry is to
see God move mightily, to see thousands and thousands of people
saved and healed. My part in this Ministry is also to see the name
of Jesus magnified and glorified, with all praise and thanks going
to Him for all that He has done for us. It such a little thing to
do, to be obedient to the calling, when consideration is given to
ALL JESUS HAS DONE FOR ME!
Romans 10: 13 - 15 "Everyone who calls on the name of
the Lord will be saved". How, then, can they call on the one they
have not believed in? And how can they hear without someone
preaching to them? And how can they preach unless they are sent? As
it is written, "How beautiful are the feet of those who bring the
good news!" (NIV)
